Enquiries
For All availability and other enquiries please email guests@wayfarershostel.com or call on 01768 866011. All enquiries will be answered within a maximum of 24 hours.
Bookings
Bookings can be arranged by email, over the phone (or via our online booking system). A minimum deposit of 25% is required to be paid in order to confirm the booking. A home address and proof of identification must be provided if requested.
Payment
All outstanding balances are to be paid in full on arrival. Additional services are to be paid for at the time of their booking.
Cancellation
If you decide to cancel your booking we must be notified immediately. The deposit is refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the booking date. If cancelation occurs within 4 weeks of the booking date the deposit will be kept as an administration fee. Bookings can be rearranged up to 2 weeks prior to the original booking date at no extra charge.
Checking In and Out
Beds are available from 4pm on the day of your arrival unless otherwise agreed. Rooms are to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Hostel Rules
Personal items are brought into the hostel at the risk of the guest. Wayfarers Hostel accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of any personal possessions on the premises, including cycles and motor vehicles. The protection of the objects brought remains the guest’s responsibility. Lost property will be kept for a minimum of 4 weeks and can be returned at the guest’s expense.
All bedding is to be provided by Wayfarers Hostel. Towels are available for a rental fee of £1 per towel.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hostel building. Any guest found to have been smoking within the hostel building will be charged a fee of up to £250 for the additional cleaning required. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor area to the rear of the hostel.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Pets are not permitted at Wayfarers Hostel.
Breakages
Anyone who causes accidental damage to the building or inventory is liable for the full cost of their repair or replacement. Theft or intentional damage to property will be prosecuted immediately. Lost keys will be charged at £10 per key.
Right to Refuse Entry
Management maintain the right to refuse entry to any guest if they disrespect any staff member or other guests. We also maintain the right to cancel any booking within 4 weeks of the due date.
We reserve the right to refuse the booking of any guest who is unable to provide a home address and identification when requested.
Privacy Policy
We are a small, family run business so when you book with us you can be confident that your data will not be passed on and will only be used by us in relation to past and future bookings.
We require a small amount of personal data in order for someone to stay at Wayfarers Hostel. This includes name, address and/or contact information of the lead booker. This will be used in relation to your booking, for example to check arrival times, to inform of left items or request payment for damages.
From time to time we may email you with news and updates about what’s happening at Wayfarers Hostel. You will always be able to opt out of any email marketing.
You have the right to be forgotten and we are happy to delete any data held and previous correspondence if requested. Please email such requests to guests@wayfarershostel.com or call 01768 866011.
